Looking at Facebook & LinkedIn - social networking sites. Facebook is great to connect with friends, find old friends, and keep up-to-date with what everyone is doing. Also a good way to find out what your favourite businesses are up to (and who's having sales when!).
LinkedIn for some professional networking - great way to connect with professional people.

likingbusiness pages is easy and gives you lots of good information while your on the businesses page and yes i think having a facebook page is a good way to promote businesses because you can add friends customers etc and become popular and more well known and get more business or customers or clients etc.
ReplyDelete^'tis true^ liking buisness pages is a way to expand viewing exposure of the particular page you liked. that is an advantage...exposure. yeah facebok is a good way to promote buisness as many people have facebook, and facebook is instant and is aimed at sharing things, which is very good for buisness promotion.

I think to option to like business pages is great exposure, for the business. I liked JB Hi-Fi's page and found out that they were having a sale, which I wouldn't known.
ReplyDeleteFacebook can be good for business and for soical media its good for sending message and add friends that u havent seen in ages or from school i dont like facebook i think its a waate of time to be on and you have to be careful of what you say and do on it
ReplyDeleteI think its a great idea to have a business pages on Facebook because you can have special sales days for only your followers/customers a reward lodyies etc. Develop online customers spread the word and your business will grow. Also on twitter you can tell your friends of a special event or meet for coffee or simply just stay in touch with what you are doing.

ReplyDeleteI love Facebook, It is very easy to use, you can make it as private as you want or need to. I love how you can text for friends instantly when you see there is a little green dot next to their name in the right hand panel of your screen.
ReplyDeleteLast night I had success in using the video link to talk to my sister-in-law and be able to see her at the same time. Since we live far away we dont get to see each other often, last night we were able to share a coffee and chat to each other, it sure takes the "Missing You" pangs away. I am looking forward to using the video link with my darling cousins in Victoria and Overseas, now I will be able to share special occasions as if we are actually together.
Besides the video link you can share your photos with family and friends, sharing the good times and the bad times too in an instant.
Facebook is a great way to advertise your small business it is a very easy way to do this lets face it nearly everybody has a Facebook Profile.
I am warming to Blogs. I like this Blog 'Blogger' as it is quite easy to use. It has taken me awhile to learn the basics as I had the impression I would never be able to remember how to use this type of social media.
ReplyDeleteUsing Twitter you can send a very short message to friends to tell them what you are up to. Maybe invite them to meet you at a cafe in town for coffee.
I am slowing coming to grips with Blogger, just nervous until I get a good idea what I am doing and where it will end up lol...Love Twitter and Facebook as I feel comfortable with them and know to be careful with everything.
